Purchasing Content for My Cell Phone
Downloading and Opening New Items
1. I received a message on my phone after I ordered. Now what?
The Confirmation message:
You receive a message on your phone (Example):
MyWebStore. You ordered item 112592 at $2.99 billed to phone.
To approve, reply with ISHOP YES. Std, other rates apply.
You need to do what it says. Reply to this message with the store prefix, a space, then YES. This tells us that you really do want to buy the item.
The Delivery message:
The next message you receive is a "WAP URL", the address on the Internet where your item is waiting. Open the message and view it. It should look something like this example:
MyWebStore Select this URL, then press Menu or Options to launch phone browser to download the item. http://wap.iloopstore.com/iloop/15559073375/112553
Use your phone menu to "Open", "Download", Go to", "Use Details", or "Extract" this message. This should launch your WAP browser and cause the content file to download. If prompted, Save the file. Check your phone user manual for how to do this on your phone.
2. I extracted the message you sent, but nothing happened.
WAP must be enabled and set up correctly on your phone. If you follow the How to Download (question #5) instructions and the phone's browser doesn't launch or returns nothing, you may need to call your mobile operator to get set up.
3. Can I download items again free?
If you delete or lose a content item, you may download it again free from the original message.
* Make sure your phone is still correctly configured.
Locate the original WAP URL message in your message inbox.
From the menu, select "Activate", "Get", "Open", "Extract", etc. as appropriate to start the download.
Your mobile phone will connect through the Internet to our service. It may download automatically or prompt you to download. Respond to the prompts to start the download.
When the download is complete, save the item as before.
Note: If you have trouble downloading, read the How to Download (question #5) help on this page carefully before downloading again. If the item doesn't download the first time, there is another problem. Feel free to get help by emailing support@iLoopMobile.com.
Depending on your phone, ringtones, wallpapers, and games are stored in different locations. Look for the appropriate library, such as "images" and "ringtones". Try "applications" for downloaded games.
4. The item downloaded, but I can’t find it
Depending on your phone, ringtones, wallpapers, and games are stored in different locations. Look for the appropriate library, such as "images" and "ringtones". Try "applications" for downloaded games.
LOOK around for it on your phone. Sometimes it gets buried in unexpected folders. You need to find the item on your phone and select it to use it. From the main menu look for options to save files. These might be under "My Folders", "My Content", "Downloads", "Funbox", etc. From there, follow the menu options to select it.
5. How to Download content - IMPORTANT -- Please Read
The message you receive after you confirm your order is a "WAP URL". It's just an ADDRESS to where your ringtone or picture is on the Internet. You MUST download this content to your phone in order to get it. We can't deliver it to you in a message.
Open the delivery message and view it. It should look something like
MyWebStore Select this URL, then press Menu or Options to launch phone browser to download the item. http://wap.iloopstore.com/iloop/15559073375/112553
You must now use this URL to open your phone's web browser and download your item to your phone. It's not too difficult. IF you have full Internet access and a Data Plan for your phone, this should be easy.
Check to see if the message has been divided into parts on your phone. On some phones, the message text and the URL are on separate lines. Scroll up and down until the URL address part is highlighted.
On some phones, the phone automatically recognizes the URL address in the message.
For all phones, you will need to press the Options/Menu softkey. Scroll down to look for words like "Open page", "Download", "Extract", "Jump", "Save Address", "Use Link", etc. This should launch your WAP browser and cause the content file to download to your phone. It may take a minute or so to connect to the Internet, locate the URL, and download the item.
Note: Phones vary a lot in how to download content. Check your phone's user manual or call your mobile operator for how to do this on your phone.
When you see the image or indication that the ringtone is there, SAVE the file. Some phones save the item automatically to the correct folder ("Sounds", "Ringtones", "Pictures", "Images", "Games" are examples.) depending on their type. Other phones require you to save the downloaded content. Press the Menu key to look for a Save option.
6. Using your new content
Download an item only ONCE and SAVE it. If you don't see it after downloading, LOOK around for it on your phone. Sometimes they hide. You need to find the item on your phone and select it to use it. From the main menu look for options to saved files. These might be under "My Folders", "My Content", “Downloads", "Funbox", etc. From there, follow the menu options to select it.
Note - You may only download an item 3 times. If you don't see it after the first download, your phone may not be fully Data Enabled. Contact your mobile operator. If you receive an error message, please email this to Support@iLoopMobile.com for help.

When you receive this message, open it, then use your phone menu to ‘open’ or ‘extract’ the URL in the message. Your phone will make an Internet WAP request to download the item. Wait until it is completely downloaded. Next, save the item as described in your mobile phone handbook. That’s it.

No. You will not be billed until you have actually downloaded the entire item to your phone. If you only receive the link to an item, you have not been billed.
But Wait! Check out the other FAQ items to see how to get what you ordered.
16. Will ringtones and wallpaper work on my phone?
Whether you can download content to your phone depends on three things:
- Your phone must be compatible with the content formats available
- Your mobile operator must support the kind of content you want to download
- You must have mobile internet (WAP) and Premium text messaging (SMS) services provisioned on your account and set to receive content.
Test your phone before you buy download the FREE test image and test ringtone.
17. I don’t see my phone on the phone list.
If you have a recent model phone, we may not have added it to our list. Check back in a week or two. If your phone is more than 6 months old, it may be one that does not support content downloads. Check with your mobile operator if you’re not sure.
18. I don’t see my mobile operator on the list.
Not all mobile operators allow 3rd party content downloads. If you don’t see your mobile operator on the list, give them a call and let them know that you’d like to buy content from us.
19. I ordered an item, but I haven’t received a response.
If you have already downloaded one of our free test items and are sure that your phone can download content, it may be that there is a delay in the SMS network.
