iLoop Mobile is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and visitors to our website. We only use the information we collect about you to process orders, deliver services requested by you, and to provide support and upgrades for our products.

What information we collect

In general, iLoop will collect information from you based upon our business relationship and your use of the site and our services as set forth below. When you communicate with us via our website or through associated messaging services you may provide personal information to us. Depending upon the form of your communication, this information may include at a minimum your name, mobile telephone number and/or email address, but may include additional personal data.

How we use the information you provide to us

Loop collects and uses personal information to give you high quality customer service, to provide you with convenient access to our products and services, and to make you aware of the latest offerings from iLoop. We do not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties for any advertising or marketing purposes.

We may use your personal information to confirm or respond to your request for information. We may also need your personal information to enable us to provide a service you have requested. Examples of how we may use your information include:

a. News and alert services.  If you wish to subscribe to news or alert services administered by iLoop, we will use your email address and/or mobile telephone number to send the requested information to you. Out of respect for your privacy, you have the option to unsubscribe from receiving some or all of the newsletters and alerts.

b. Service-related Announcements.  We will send you service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email and/or a text message. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.

c. Customer Service.  We will also communicate with you in response to your customer service inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. Such communications may require use of personally identifiable information you have provided to us.

d. Mobile User Information.  As part of our services, we sometimes receive personal information from wireless carriers and operators in order to provide services involving mobile marketing campaigns and data services requested by individual users. All such personal information is acquired from either the wireless carrier or from the user's mobile device via the wireless carrier's network. This personal data is usually limited to the user's cell phone number, but depending upon the type of campaign additional personal information may be acquired. The user must explicitly "opt in" through the wireless carrier in order for any of this information to be collected and its use is governed by this Privacy Policy and any policies or procedures of the user's wireless carrier. We only use personal information we receive as part of our services for the purpose of providing those services to the wireless carriers and operators and their subscribers.

e. Partner Services.  For services involving a messaging aggregator or other technology provider or partner, we may also need to provide personal information to that partner. The privacy policy of such partners will apply to its use of your information. We are not responsible for how the partner then uses that information. We will not provide your personal information to any other third parties without your express permission.

Cookies and how we use them

This site uses cookies, which are small text files stored on your computer’s hard drive by your web browser. Cookies make your visit to our website more efficient by helping us to recognize you when you visit. We may use cookies to identify you as a previous user of our website or services and to facilitate you logging in. These latter cookies are "session cookies", meaning that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a session using our website or service.

iLoop follows the European Union Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the Department of Commerce regarding collection, use, and retention of data from the European Union. Our privacy practices with respect to personal data collected from individuals residing in the European Union are self-certified to the Safe Harbor Program developed by the US Department of Commerce and the European Commission. For mobile messaging services supplied through European Union wireless carriers, we may receive Personal Data transferred by users in the European Union to the United States merely as a Data Processor on behalf of those carriers and our customers administering mobile marketing campaigns. In this capacity, we act as the Data Processor and these carrier and operators act as the Data Controllers. We do not own or control any of the Personal Data we process on behalf of our carrier and operator partners. Processes performed by us on behalf of our customers and carrier partners are pursuant to the instructions of the applicable partner. We may use the services of third party Data Processors to process Personal Data in accordance with purposes identified for such data by the applicable partner.

Security limitations

While we strive to protect your personal information, no data transmission over the internet or wireless networks can be guaranteed to be totally secure and therefore we cannot ensure or warrant the security of information you send to us or through our mobile messaging platform. Information you send information via this site and/or our messaging platform at your own risk.

This Privacy Policy may be modified

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it regularly. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised Privacy Policy on the site and other places we deem appropriate.
